Why try CBT?
It is part and parcel of being human to go through difficult times in life that can leave you feeling stressed, low in mood and lacking in self confidence. There will be times when you feel stuck and in need of some help to overcome your problems . CBT teaches you skills for life to manage your emotions instead of them controlling you. It will help you understand how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact so that you learn how to live a better life. The good news is that there is a wealth of scientific evidence to show that CBT is a tried, tested and effective talking therapy that helps people recover.
I am a fully qualified and accredited ( BABCP) Cognitive Behavioural Therapist based in central Edinburgh . Due to Covid restrictions , I am only offering treatment via telephone or online video conference. Please see the types of problems that I specialise in below.
